Leading the room, every week
For the past year, Nick has run the weekly AI calls inside one of the largest and most respected AI communities anywhere, with 280,000+ members. He was not in the audience - he was the one teaching it, week after week, which is how he built a reputation for turning AI from a buzzword into working systems people actually ship.
Nick spent eight years as a tutor before going all in on AI, and that teacher's instinct still shapes how he works: start from where someone actually is, then build up. He is happiest when the plumbing disappears - when automations, custom tools, and AI infrastructure quietly make everything else faster.
Systems that replace real work
Nick's client work is not toy demos. He automated the entire invoice workflow for a logistics ecosystem doing $70-100M in revenue, serving 25,000+ customers and moving 50,000+ shipments a month, with clients including Unilever and Duracell. That single system replaced more than 100 hours of manual processing every month.
Through Sunset Systems he designs and ships that kind of infrastructure for businesses: the automations that remove manual work, the custom tools that fit a specific process, and the AI steps that add judgment where a fixed rule is not enough.
How he teaches at the Club
Every week Nick runs the Club's live AI calls. The format is hands-on - members bring real tasks from their own businesses and leave with something built, not a page of notes. His bias is toward the small, boring automations that run every day, because that is where the time actually leaks back into the week.
Nick is in the final round of interviews for the n8n Ambassador program and is speaking at an n8n-sponsored workshop this month for business professionals, students, and government officials. He teaches automation the way he uses it: read-only first, tested on real data, and only trusted with sending or writing once it has earned it.
